I had the pleasure of illustrating the pre-established mascots - Amos the Moose, Blueberry Bear, and Pierre the Lumberjack for Sugarloaf Mountain in Maine with Puelle Design in Portland.

Client: Wyman’s

Project: Wyman’s is the largest and oldest wild blueberry company in Maine. I am in love with their No Bees No Berries campaign. t’s nice to feel good about a client that has deep roots in my home state and is passionate about the future of our planet.

Dream Assignment: Creating a deck of playing cards for Wyman’s based on the great state of Maine! We changed up the suits and face cards and included Wyman’s mission to SAVE the BEES! Thanks to Stephen King for the approval!

I love working with organizations who want to make the world a better place! “Youth Full Maine” connects food-insecure children in Maine with nourishing food to improve their learning capacity, health and future. The client liked both versions of apples, so I suggested they simply use both! Why not? A logo doesn’t need to be stagnant. And it needs to work in black and white as well as color, too!

Meet Webby! A lovable, fun loving duck mascot for the Shelburne Museum in Vermont - a museum featuring art, design, and Americana with a pretty cool collection of duck decoys, too!

I love all things Hand Lettering. I use pen and ink, paint, cut paper, and mixed media to create original letterforms.

I love to illustrate cats.

This sketchbook series was inspired by a prompt used during a rapid transitional period in my life. Working in a sketchbook is probably one of the most centering acts an artist can do and is very much akin to meditation.

Here are a few process photos of a piece I created for the Wake Up Alice Exhibition: Illustrators Celebrating 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland at the Portland Public Library in Portland, Maine. I take great pleasure in cutting up painted and inked paper and putting it altogether again! My studio doesn’t always look like a tornado touched down but when I am in the middle of a project like this - well, it might get that way!
